Hope you all are keeping safe. 

Thank you for sharing your concerns. ICANN is aware of the recent news about Zoom. We are monitoring its development and at this time, Zoom still fit as ICANN online meeting platform. If you are interested to know more, please see the ICANN blog here.

Along with other ICANN account setting, we are also taking best possible course of action to keep you and the meeting secure and productive. For example, all meetings will require password protection and the waiting room will be enabled. 

We update our Zoom program regularly to ensure we have the latest version that addressed the known security issues. We would encourage you to keep your Zoom application updated as well. 

As of now, Zoom is still be the option for the NBGP meeting on 11 May. 

We will keep you informed of any further development.

I too have uninstalled Zoom but we have Skype and MS-Teams as option. Zoho could also be used although it is not as good as other options. Regards,

I have uninstalled Zoom from laptop as well as from phone due to this. 

Today I have started online training on Kannada Wikipedia. I used Lark for this training. It is available at www.larksuite.com [larksuite.com]. I found it is somewhat behind the leaders (WebEx, Google Meet, Skype, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, etc) in this category. WebEx is quite good, but not free. They are giving free now for 3 months because of Covid-19 lockdown. 

These are just my thoughts.
