<p><font face="Georgia">Dear All,</font></p>
<p><font face="Georgia">As discussed, sharing (as attached) the
visually confusing combinations between Devanagari and Gurmukhi
script. <br>
</font></p>
<p><font face="Georgia">Please note that none of the combinations
listed are not termed to be equivalents of each other
semantically or otherwise. They are only grouped based on
possible visual confusibility. Here are some of the examples of
them.<br>
</font></p>
<p>गप्पी - ਗਘੀ</p>
<p>डैडी - ਛੈਛੀ</p>
<p>रैडी - ਕੈਛੀ</p>
<p>वडी - ਕਛੀ</p>
<p><font face="Georgia">At first even if they may not be looking
exactly the same, however, in the given context e.g. in browser
bar as a part of a domain name, or as a single word where there
is no surrounding text from the same script for distinguishing,
they can create visual confusion in the minds of the user.</font></p>
<p><font face="Georgia">These are the cases of "Whole Label
Confusables" where it is expected the "all" the constituent
characters/aksharas should have an equivalent confusable in the
other script. If there is even one single character/akshara
which is not having an equivalent visual confusable in other
script, it essentially create a visually distinguishable and
hence non-confusable string. In the latter case, these
confusables do not apply. <br>
</font></p>
<p><font face="Georgia">Any suggestions/additions/deletions/comments
are welcome. :)<br>
