Instead of using ോ sign, it is using decomposed ഓ sign. ZWJ based chillus are very common in internet and request support ZWJ and ZWNJ in IDN labels were rejected repeatedly in the past as far as I understood. Atomic chillus are accepted. For background see the reference documents I wrote and linked in the Malayalam document.<br><br></div><div>The decomposition is not really invalid, becase this decomposition is defined by Unicode - Canonical decomposition.
