Dear all,

Kindly find below my candidate statement for the upcoming NPOC election:

Name: Bolutife Adisa

Affiliation: Digital Grassroots

Position applied for: Secretary

Why you are running for the position?:
I am running for this position because i would like to continue serving the NPOC community through the position of Secretary. As an experienced volunteer in the ICANN space, having served in the past as Comms chair and most recently as Secretary, I believe I have the requisite skills and experience to perform effectively in this role.
My vision for this role is to provide adequate support for the members and EC in matters of administration as well as policy related topics.

Qualifications for the position:
Having held leadership positions as program manager, youth lead and board member in various nonprofit initiatives, working with digital rights and literacy topics both in a volunteer role and paid position, I believe my skills and experience make me a valuable resource within the NPOC leadership.

I have also supported various policy initiatives for NPOC at the NCSG policy committee, having been a pen-holder in drafting the two recent NCSG public comments on the RSP Handbook and the Applicant Support Guidebook. These were both critical documents necessary for ICANN's implementation of the Next Round GTLD program.

Do you have any conflicts) of interest?: No

How many hours per week you are able to dedicate to the position: I am fully committed and willing to dedicate as many hours as necessary.

Are you involved in any working Groups or PDP efforts, if so please state:
I am currently the NPOC representative on the SPRIT charter drafting working group. I also serve as alternate for the Transfer policy working group.
