I’m happy with Silvia’s agenda - but I’d also include a link to the Holistic Review on the agenda page so that attendees have access to the document in time to read/refresh their memory of the review.

And Ricardo are you comfortable with your session - leading up to Hamburg?   (I note neither of us will be at Hamburg)  My experience is that meetings really need a chair who is actually physically present when they are being held mainly in person - which leaves both of us not really suitable for chairing.  I”ll have a word with JZ about that.

I’d imagine the best time for our meeting after this is after ICANN 78 - but we should have a briefing on the PTI budget before it is released for comment - which we can discuss at the coming meeting.

Thanks both to Heidi and Silvia.  The OFB page looks so much better - particularly with an obvious link to back meetings.

The timeline for Community and Board involvement in the planning process has now been posted on the OFB-WG workspace at: https://community.icann.org/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=132940946.

You will note some changes to the schedule including the ICANN and IANA O&FP public comment now being joint and launching in December. The PTI Draft FY25 Plan is also scheduled to be launched in December (see: https://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/upcoming-proceedings).

Please could you confirm you would like to continue with holding an OFB-WG call the first week of September. Also, please let us know what you would like to be the main content of an OFB-WG call.

Ricardo, I have added more information on the FBSC and included that it supported in its work by the OFB-WG. We may wish to work with Jonathon on the future of this group given the growing role of the OFB-WG.

I agree the page needed an update, I could look at the new one, it seems to be working now. Looks much better than before. Still just a bit of confusing groups, since the OFBWG and the FBSC are different things, thus the membership shown is the one for the FBSC, not for the OFBWG, for the last one, I am not sure we even have a membership as such, more a usual suspects group, thats is not the one in the list of members (like Marita, Cheryl, Sebastien, Alfredo..)

As of the meeting, the first of September looks fine for me. In the meantime, last year we had a pre launch session from both IANA/PTI OP&B and ICANN OP&B, but in the updated page of the OFBWG there is only mention for a PTI/IANA OP&B for mid october and an ICANN OP&B for mid december. Are these pre launches eliminated?

About ICANN78, so far I have no invitation to attend it in person. But yes, I can do it virtually.

Actually, 3 week of my holiday were spent near Mattapoisett - which looks across Buzzards Bay to the Cape.  And yes - lovely area. (enjoy the view from our deck)

I have tried several times to view the OFB WG workspace - and it won’t resolve - I”ll keep trying but agree, the page did need an overhaul.

And yes, we will need to start discussions on the budget and I look forward to an updates schedule.  The first week in Sept would be fine

I don’t think I”ll be able to be at ICANN 78 in person - once again clashes with teaching g and I am already missing a week of teaching because i”ll be at the
APrIGF in person.  I”ll consult with the course conveyor

The focus on the workspace is now FY25. Our Planning team will send an updated timetable table for Community and Board Involvement on Monday which will show some changes to the regular schedule of operational public comments.

Perhaps the first half of September will be a good time for the next OFB-WG call. Let us know.

Finally, the ICANN78 Planning Committee is currently proposing an OFB-WG Overview session during ICANN78 on Sunday morning. This session would be similar to the one that was held during the previous AGM.
