Volker had also indicated that he won’t be available to lead the subgroup between mid-December and mid-January, Stephanie confirmed she will take over the leader/rapporteur role in his absence.

  *   Establish mandate, objectives and timeline for the work
  *   Determine topics for investigation and validate against ICANN Bylaws
  *   Identify briefings/data sources needed
  *   Determine requirements for independent expert(s) and – if necessary – develop statement of work
  *   Adopt statement of work and associated work plan

The first milestone will be for subgroups to complete the attached planning document.
