<p>LOS ANGELES – 1 August 2018 – Today, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) announced an <a href="https://www.icann.org/resources/registry-system-testing/#resources" target="_blank">RST documentation</a> update. The update includes new documentation related to domain name system (DNS), Internationalized Domain Name (IDN) and WHOIS testing. The <a href="https://www.icann.org/en/system/files/files/rst-faq-01aug18-en.pdf" target="_blank">FAQ document</a> [PDF, 219 KB] was also updated to reflect the related changes.</p>
<ul>
<li><a href="https://www.icann.org/resources/registry-system-testing/#resources" target="_blank">DNS</a> test documentation was updated to align with backend changes to the DNS test engine.</li>
<li><a href="https://www.icann.org/resources/registry-system-testing/#resources" target="_blank">IDN</a> test documentation was updated to reflect procedural changes in support of LGR formatted tables.</li>
<li><a href="https://www.icann.org/resources/registry-system-testing/#resources" target="_blank">WHOIS</a> test documentation was updated to accommodate the requirements specified in the <a href="https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/gtld-registration-data-specs-en" target="_blank">Temporary Specification for gTLD Registration Data</a>.</li>
