<p>I have been following this and while the registrar in this case
could have been more cooperative, the escalation path that
compliance chose shows how the process is broken in parts. ICANN
compliance does not go by what makes sense, they go by a book and
a checklist, regardless of whether it makes sense or not. <br>
</p>
<p>The final line in the article is an apt description of how to
streamline the compliance process: Don't argue, just do what they
ask and hope for the best. There is no recourse, after all.<br>
