[RSS GWG] Update on timing?

Ted,

I don’t have a timeframe for the RSSAC turnaround all I can share is the procedures that RSSAC follows for its publications as defined in RSSAC000 procedures document. There are a number of variables that impact the timeline and we won’t know until it gets to RSSAC. It could be as short as a week if there is little to no discussion, but I were to speculate, I would guess it would be something like 2-3 weeks.

Cheers,
Brad

Hi Brad,
Thanks for the update.
I note that you said "sent to the RSSAC for publication"; do you anticipate the RSSAC turning that around essentially upon receipt?
Or is there a process on the RSSAC side as well?

I ask because our first meeting after the 23rd would be October 7th. If RSSAC processing is a separate process, that likely would not be possible, but if it is simply a turnaround, that could.

Best regards,

Ted

Ted,

The RSOs met yesterday and I was tasked with reaching out to you, you beat me to it.

We have made tremendous progress on the consensus driven Success Criteria document. The RSOs take their responsibility seriously and hence a high level of care is being embraced. We have a 2 day workshop at the end of this month to go through the document to ensure we are have reached full consensus on the contents. The output of the workshop will be a completed document that will be turned over to RSSAC for adoption.

Give that our workshop is currently scheduled after our currently scheduled RSO/GWG meeting, it is our recommendation that we cancel the meeting on the 23rd.

Cheers,
Brad

Hi Brad, Lars-Johan, Hiro,

May I ask if there is any update to the expected timing of the document to be produced by the RSOs?

best regards,

Ted Hardie
