<span style="color:#1f497d">The WHOIS Review Team may be interested in the following resolution that the GNSO Council passed at its meeting last Thursday. The GNSO Council voted to delay the start of a PDP on the issue of “thick” WHOIS until the first meeting following 30 November, 2012. Note the following “Whereas” clause which speaks to the delay: “taking into account the current workload of the GNSO community, the GNSO Council voiced support for a delay in the start of the PDP until both ICANN staff and GNSO resources are available to deal with this”.<u></u><u></u></span></p>
