[social-media-wg] #ICANN52 Social Media Plan

Hello All, 

ICANN 52 Singapore is less than one week away! As usual, our working group
will work together to provide live coverage of At-Large sessions on social
media. 

This time, a special volunteer team will use Sprout Social for tweet
collaboration. While most of these volunteers will participate in ICANN 52
remotely, they will directly contribute to tweet drafting for our official
At-Large handle. 

For the members who didn't volunteer for this team, there are many ways for
you to help and contribute to our social media coverage.
1. If you have a Twitter handle, please tweet on your own during our
sessions & capture interesting information you hear or see. I will RT from
you or quote you frequently. To do that, I created a list that includes all
of our members (if I missed you pls let me know), so that I can follow your
feed closely during ICANN 52.
2. Among the people who are attending ICANN 52 in person (e.g. Olivier,
Leon, Pavan, Yannis, Seun, Glenn, Evan), I would appreciate it very much if
you can help out with some picture taking. If you remember how to use Slack
to upload pictures, that¹s cool. If you don¹t, you may simply take pictures
via your phone and send them to our Skype group chat OR our new Twitter DM
group. In Singapore I will show you how they work.
3. Like previous meetings, Skype will be our main communications channel.
When I need help with RT, pictures, and coverage of sessions that I can¹t
attend, I will shout out on Skype. I will try to make communications less
overwhelming for you, so you can concentrate on the meetings :).
4. When it is appropriate, pls use #ICANNAtlarge in your tweets.
I am very excited to see y¹all soon in person, or online, for #ICANN52!
