From question at thechad.com.au Mon Dec 1 06:48:57 2014 From: question at thechad.com.au (question) Date: Mon, 01 Dec 2014 17:48:57 +1100 Subject: [Spec13-request] .man Specification Application Message-ID: To whom it may concern, I believe .MAN should not be restricted to a .Brand TLD. If instead it were made a gTLDN it would allow for many domain hacks. There are many superheros which have had movies about them in recently (bat.man, super.man spider.man, ?) In Australia (where is reside) there is an iron man competition (iron.man) There are some spokes people for brands that could benefit (duff.man (fictional character from "The Simpsons" cartoon)) Some people have a nickname that ends in man (boogie.man, rain.man) There are pop culture references some people may want to register (ender.man, sand.man) In conclusion, please consider making .man generic instead of restricting it to a brand name. Thank you for your time. *** Security Note *** ************************************************************************** Scanned by MDaemon SecurityPlus v4.0 and deemed to be virus free at this time Mon, 01 Dec 2014 17:49:02 +1100 **************************************************************************
