[Ssr2-review] Digest of key items for new members

Denise,

this is all incredibly helpful information,
although it's not clear to me the new volunteers
will be able to process it all before august.
i think we need help from icann staff to fill in 
answers to questions such as those on this page: 
https://docs.google.com/document/d/15g9bz4h57wC9LmNltKLarLRGhJdztnCBzDGtWmBs8q0/edit
with something more than "answered during the
meeting; see meeting record."

it does not make sense for 30 volunteers to separately all go
dig through meeting records to find answers to these questions.
can we get one person who is funded to support this work go
compile answers to these questions and paste them inline into
the doc, with a reference to the page from which they were
summarized?  that would help streamline this effort a great deal.

i've a similar issue with the material for subgroup #1.
i would expect some web page with a table that has in the 
left column the name of the recommendation (like on 
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1-Q9U68DALXswJ46zyWPX_1PBnsVL1-_ag26w0ohylRY/edit
) but some right-hand column that links to what 
consitutes the 'delivery' of that recommendation, 
e.g., the document, definition, or report of action 
recommended.  instead i see a slide set:

which i guess talks about one recommendation.

which i guess is a table of questions trying to 
get such information from ICANN, but the information 
was never provided, or never made its way to this table?

this begs the question of who wrote the bold face text on:

which says:
	ALL RECOMMENDATIONS FROM THE FIRST SSR REVIEW (SSR1) HAVE BEEN
	FULLY IMPLEMENTED.  NO FURTHER UPDATES TO THE QUARTERLY REPORT
	BELOW WILL BE POSTED.

so, who actually determined that the above statement 
was true, and did SSR2 team ever confer with that person
about how they arrived at that conclusion? or was this
SSR2's conclusion?  is part of the reason the team
struggled is that they had no means to measure the
success of SSR1, nor framework to acquire such a means?

sorry if these are dense questions, i guess i'm still
in the shallow end of the pool i fear drowning in,
consider this a plea for a life vest.
