The type names are already parenthesized in difftime.c, and have been
parenthesized ever since difftime started using sizeof (in 1994).
Perhaps your copy of difftime.c was corrupted?  You can get the
canonical source from <ftp://elsie.nci.nih.gov/pub/>.

Not really.  I guess tzselect should be installed in the same
directory that zic and zdump are.  I'll include something like that in
my next proposed change.  Thanks for your bug report.
