[tz] Comments and mapping of tz zones to the real world

very entertaining.

A different issue that sometimes comes into my mind when thinking
about drawing maps of time zones, is tectonic drift which changes the
coordinates of boundaries if they are fixed relative to mountains,
rivers, monuments or so.

"The quake moved portions of northeastern Japan by as much as 2.4 m
(7.9 ft) closer to North America, making portions of Japan's landmass
wider than before."

So, the zone Asia/Tokyo has been enlarged.
