That's a simplification.  Although the Channel Islands orders I found in 
the National Archives at Kew are far from providing complete information 
for 1916-1922, they do show as detailed on my webpage that Jersey used 
different transition times from the UK in 1916 (and Geraint Jennings found 
reference to this in the debate in the States).  I transcribed the 1916
