Dears,

I know you have had many communications on this. Sincerely, sorry for that and hope you understand it is totally out of our hands.

For now, the DST is officially cancelled and shared in the official news as well as through the mobile operators.

The situation is that we have rolled the previous package in the whole network and we are in urgent need for your help and support regarding the below:

- Cancellation package to cancel the DST that is going to happen on the system, on 7th of July as the current package is loaded already.

- If there is a way to manually edit the time settings in the current package to make it for example as if it will change the time on 7th Of August? The reason behind that is to give us some time to load the cancellation patch (when delivered) in the whole network again (as it requires node restarts as well).

Once again, sorry for the inconvenience and really appreciating your support.

Thanks,

ABDELRAHMAN GANO

I can imagine the confusion happening to you with this,
But the fact that we got a lot of conflicts to get the final decision and the decision initially was from the government, then the parlament rejected this,
And finally today the government agreed on that, and cancelled the DST,

I know it is a mess, but the fact their decision affecting our technology and operation for the telecom networks plus thousands of affected business,

That is why we are seeking your support on this.

Thanks
Mina

I don't get where all the different dates came from. First reports were regarding DST starting on the 7th, then the 5th was mentioned and now that it is canceled (if it really is) they say it was to be applied on the 8th.
