<DIV></DIV>The state of Western Australia is planning to adopt daylight saving
time on a trial basis till 31 March 2009. This has not yet been passed by
parliament but is supported by both major parties.<BR><BR>The initial period is
2am 1 December 2006 to 2am 25 March 2007. <BR><BR>Subsequent periods are 2am on
last Sunday in October till 2am on last Sunday in March.<BR><BR>The Daylight
