Statutes of Newfoundland and Labrador 2011 CHAPTER 6 AN ACT TO AMEND THE STANDARD TIME ACT (Assented to May 31, 2011) Analysis 1. S.3 Amdt. Daylight time 2. Commencement Be it enacted by the Lieutenant-Governor and House of Assembly in Legislative Session convened, as follows: RSNL1990 cS-23 as amended 1. Subsection 3(1.1) of the Standard Time Act is repealed and the following substituted: (1.1) Until changed under subsection (1), during the period in each year between 2 a.m. of the second Sunday in March and 2 a.m. of the first Sunday in November time in the province shall be reckoned as 2 1/2 hours later than Greenwich mean solar time.
