<div dir="ltr"><div>The <a href="http://whitehouse.gov">whitehouse.gov</a> petition to eliminate DST "has expired, because it failed to meet the signature threshold," having garnered roughly 32,000 electronic signatures by today (the closing date). The expiration means the White House is not required to reply to the petition.<br>
