I installed the attached first patch to try to do that. The second <br>

attached patch silences a warning when running "make <br>

CFLAGS='$(GCC_DEBUG_FLAGS)' GCC_INSTRUMENT=" on my platform (I updated <br>

GCC recently).<br>
