Thank you all.

I would also suggest considering making a statement along the same lines during the public forum on Thursday.

Attached is the near-final letter that ICANN will post and also send to Steve Crocker. I have updated affiliations and added names as people have expressed interest in signing on.

Christian, over to you for a final look-through before saying "ship it" to Cyrus.

Yes, Ram. I think it's marvellous that so many people want to be part of this.

Hi Don,
Given that the "original" workshop participants had their ranks swelled at the public session on Monday, I thought we should have all those interested and who approve add their names to the signatories...it seemed to me to be the right thing to do.

Thanks Ram.

I'm not sure how Jothan came into the signature list.

And, while everyone else has some affiliation, I'm happy to also be affiliated with I2 (my consulting business), PIP (Pacific Internet Partners - I'm a co-chair) or Book Haven (a book shop that uses the Internet) - or I can be left unaffiliated.

Christian, folks,
I updated the letter into one that goes to the ICANN Board of Directors. Along the way, I did some copy editing - not taking away any of the substance, but cleaning up the language and the flow. Both redline and clean versions attached.

Comments/review welcome.

Proposed final attached. Sorry for all the versioning. In the future we can surely use a cloud office solution to handle this more efficiently.
