[UA-discuss] Hackathon @ ICANN55 - Update

Here is an alternative to a Hackathon -

An open competition for ideas for 2 domain names for this group. An ascii new gtld domain name and an idn new gtld domain name. Entries will be judged on creativity, uniqueness, relevance …etc…

The 2 winning entries will be registered and used by this group. The 2 winning entrants will receive prizes

This seems to me to have a lot of potential because

① it will be totally open to absolutely everyone
② i consider this could take place over a long period of time
③ it will aid in promotion of UA
④ it could serve as a way into schools, colleges and universities
⑤ i think it less risky than a hackathon
