In case any of you are preparing a briefing paper ahead of Marrakech, you might include something along the following around Universal Acceptance….


The Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG) will be meeting again in a full-day workshop on the Sunday (8:30 - Palmeraie).  In the morning the group will go through the Quick Guides to Universal Acceptance that have been developed since Dublin.  There will also be additional demonstration of EAI (Email Address Internationalisation) in action across a number of platforms and scripts - including some audience participation.  An update on progress from ICANN’s CIO on their own UA Readiness Journey will be given as well a discussion on Universal Acceptance issues between Registries and Registrars using EPP.  The afternoon will be a continuation of a Close Reading of the UASG’s Flagship document, an Introduction to Universal Acceptance.

There will also be a public session on Universal Acceptance on Wednesday from 9:00AM (Toubkal)
