[UA-discuss] Fun with linkification

The term that I am hearing more and more frequently is "TACO" which is an
acronym for 'That's Another Code Orange' to describe these events.

Setting aside the irony/humor thing, link detection and conversion is a
large functionality benefit and productivity enhancement, saving the time
of many millions of users the need to copy and paste links from a message
or program into the location bar to visit referenced links in
communications.

This was very clearly a user error thing.

On most platforms, Twitter and other programs provide visual indication
that it sees a what it thinks is a link or URL.

Clearly this is not Twitter's fault or problem, and it could have occurred
on ANY platform that does auto-linking.
