<div class="">Actually I did look at QR codes some 10+ years ago. My purpose was to get QR codes to work with IDNs. This was in the days when it was idn.ascii-tld and there was no such thing EAI. From what I remember I did get it working with IDNs. The technology
will have moved on since I last looked at it but I see absolutely no reason why QR codes should not work with internationalised email addresses. I have not looked at QR codes since my investigation 10+ years ago, but will do so later.</div>

<div class="">Anyone from Apple on this list? There is an issue with OSX High Sierra Mail App. When I add an email link I have to specify "mailto://" rather than "mailto:". That in itself is not the issue but rather it is that Mail then treats the "//" as part
of the email address and puts it into the email message To; field. I got round it by editing my mailsignature file and removed the "//". An easy fix would be to allow both "mailto://" and "mailto:" when adding links. Any chance of flagging this problem with
the OSX Mail team?</div>
