Prompted by Yuriʼs email I looked at the state of play with respect to Ukraineʼs cyrillic ccTLD .укр. It is probably 2/3 years since I last looked.<br class="">

I am most impressed😀<br class="">

Googling on .укр I get 1420000 results which I think is really good.<br class="">
<br class="">
What I also found impressive is that for every single site on the first results page, none of them redirect to an ascii nor use frame redirects.<br class="">
<br class="">
The one thing I would like to change though is for those sites to use Ukrainian Cyrillic in the pathname part of the URL rather than romanised Ukrainian or English. It is easy enough to do this with aliasing ie alias Ukrainian Cyrillic names to ascii names
for directories and files.<br class="">
