Hello, UA colleagues:

Would anyone like to deliver a Universal Acceptance presentation
to the 43rd Internationalisation and Unicode Conference (IUC43) in
Santa Clara, California, USA in October?

I think this is a good venue for our message: the audience is not
large, but they tend to be key architects of the technologies
which make UA possible. They are technologists committed to
cultural openness, and they are already completely sympathetic to
UA's goals. They still need to hear what the UA issues and
obstacles are, and what they can do to help. I have presented
there for many years, and on UA for the last couple of years.
However, I am travelling this year and won't be able to attend.

I would love it if someone else would step in to fill the gap.
Their call for proposals is open now, until Friday 15. March 2019
(just extended). There's no guarantee that any proposal will be
accepted, of course, but it would be a pity if no UA presentation
were even proposed.

I'm happy to offer advice and coaching to anyone who wants to
propose. For more information, see the message below, or read <<a
