<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">On behalf of the Universal Acceptance Steering Group (UASG), I am pleased to announce the results of the 2021 UASG leadership elections (Chair and Vice-Chair positions). As the </span><a href="https://uasg.tech/uasg-charter/"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">UASG charter</span></a><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;"> indicates, the UASG will be <em>“overseen by one Chair and two to three Vice-Chairs who will be appointed to two-year terms.”</em> </span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">Interested candidates for the Chair and Vice-Chair positions </span><a href="https://uasg.tech/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/2021-UASG-Election-Accepting-Nominations.pdf"><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;">were asked</span></a><span style="font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;"> to submit self-nominations and Statements of Interest by 9 March 2021 (original deadline was extended). The UASG received four nominations – one for Chair and three for Vice-Chair – resulting in an uncontested election. Below are the results.</span></p>
