Hi Jordan,

In light of the memo from Adler Cohen, I'm not sure we even know all
of the options for the community powers mechanism let alone be in a position to chose one. Given the time needed for the law firm to get up to stead on our project there is a question in my mind as to whether even the revised time frame is doable. I don't take great joy in pointing this out but if asked to chose a model today I could not because 1. I'm not sure all possible models are on the table (the Adler Colvin memo suggested alternatives we really haven't fully considered) and 2. I'm still unsure of the specifics of some of the statutory models or at least would like confirmation from counsel as to what I believe the specifics are (and I'm one of the two volunteers who wrote our template on these models). Yet until we have a mechanism in place certain, many, aspects of our work inevitably will be stalled.

We perhaps should have consulted with the retained law firms before rebooting our schedule. We certainly need to do so specifically before we establish our new Wp1 work plan. Hopefully today's legal call will provide some answers that we can use in our wp1 call tonight.
