 NextGen@ICANN Application Round for ICANN65 Is Now Open   10 December 2018
LOS ANGELES â?? 10 December 2018 â?? Today, the Internet Corporation for 
Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) launched the application round for those 
interested in participating at the ICANN65 Meeting in Marrakech through the 
NextGen Program. The Meeting will take place from 24 June to 27 June 2019.The 
application round will remain opened until 11 January 2019. Successful 
candidates will be announced on the ICANN website on 08 February 2019. For more

 About ICANN  ICANN&#39;s mission is to help ensure a stable, secure and 
unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to 
type an address â?? a name or a number â?? into your computer or other device. 
That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN 
helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN 
was formed in 1998 as a not-for-profit public-benefit corporation with a 
community of participants from all over the world.
