Dear members of LACRALO,
 
Earlier this year after talking with Humberto and Maritza about the poor 
attendance of the community in the online seminars that took place in 2016, it 
was decided to do the following to try to improve participation:
 
The 5 online seminars on PDPs that would take place in 2017 would take place 
during some of LACRALO's monthly calls.
 To encourage participation, it was decided to focus one of the Regional 
Strategy Projects to reward a community member through a lottery that has 
participated in 4 of the 5 following online seminars in 2017, the winner will 
receive a few days training in the ICANN office in the city of Los Angeles.

 Online seminar entitled &quot;Empowered Community&quot; took place on Monday 
27 March 2017, with the presentation of Speaker Samantha Eisner, ICANN Deputy 
General Counsel, we had 31 participants.
 Online seminar entitled &quot;Policy development process on the review of all 
rights protection mechanisms in all gTLDS&quot; was held on Monday, May 15, 
2017, with the presentation of Mary Wong Sr. Director, Special Adviser for 
ICANN Strategic Policy and we had 17 participants.
 Online seminar entitled &quot;&quot; Countries and names of territories as 
TLDs &quot;was held on Monday 17 July 2017, with the presentation of Steve Chan 
- gNSO specialist ICANN, we had 21 participants.
 Online seminar entitled &quot;Access to UDRP / URS Healing Protections for 
IGOs / INGOs PDP was held on Monday, September 18, 2017, with the presentation 
of Steve Chan - gNSO specialist ICANN, we had 16 participants
 Online seminar entitled &quot;Purpose of gTLD Registry Data PDP&quot; to be 
held next Monday, December 18, 2017, with the presentation of Chuck Gomes PDP 
WG Chair.
 The following people participated in 4 of the 5 online seminars already 
entered into the prize draw:
