[CCWG-ACCT] Reminder: Need Rapporteurs by 3 July

 Dear Colleagues,
I support the idea of plural but diverse rapporteurs, for this shall lead
to balance.

I understand and expect, rapporteurs will be neutral and report things ‘as
stated’, without translating any statements as per own interpretations.

I propose, that rapporteurs keep things simple, so that the stakeholders
from diverse countries and diverse linguistic and vocational backgrounds
are enabled to understand and engage. Though, some sub-group issues, like
Jurisdiction, are inherently legal in nature, but for facilitating greater
participation, rapporteurs may best consider using minimum legalese.

In addition, I suggest that in future WS-2 discussions, parallel to
the ‘issue of staff accountability’, the issue of ‘accountability in ad-hoc
roles’, may also warrant some attention.

Regards,

Renu Sirothiya
