[APRALO-Policy] My first online course - the DNS Abuse Institute

Hi Amrita

Thank you for your support of previous recommendations. Very much
appreciated.

Im glad you mentioned the P.I.R and A.P. RALO. As it is an avatar that is
reading the script, each avatar was not consistent in the waythey read PIR
(sometimes as per) and APRALO sometimes could easily be mistaken for AF
RALO.

I wanted it to be standardised by each of the avatars, so that they said
A.P. RALO (to enhance the Asia Pacific part of our regional name). I hope
you will forgive this anomaly, but it is an inexpensive video production
software and not particularly flash but I thought it presented the
information in a different kind of way. So unfortunately it has to stay the
way it is.

For this reason I went beyond the videos in the first lesson, to give a
brief introduction to APRALO to reinforce how the name is written and what
we do within it. *Perhaps a short introductory video from you as the APRALO
Chair would be useful - straight after the flipcharts??*

I also had an issue with the text being right or left justified versus both
sides justified which increased the font size to justify a one word line.
But as it sometimes took up to 4 hours to render a 40 sec video, I left it
as it was. It was fun just watching the avatar reading the text.

But Im certainly taking all these suggestions and recommendations on board,
because for me it establishes a set of standards that I will try to adhere
to in future. This feedback from the Forum members has been really
important as we continue to work together as a regional policy team.
