Hello Holly,

>> We plan to deliver a revised set of the CWG bylaws by end of day March 18th.

Great - thanks for confirming.

>> (We also should be able to provide to ICANN Legal a revised set of the IRP bylaws reflecting the final proposal on Monday or Tuesday of next week so they can incorporate into the March 18 bylaw draft.)

Thanks - that would be very helpful.

>> We understand ICANN Legal is drafting the PTI articles and bylaws. Will those be ready for our review on March 18th?

OK - I have asked for confirmation. I expect the legal team is now travelling back to the USA - so ay be out of contact for 2 hours or so.

I am actually on a flight from Casablanca to Doha at the moment with on-board Wi-Fi (Qatar Airways).

>> We believe priority should be given to review of the CCWG bylaws during our face-to-face meeting given that the issues involved in drafting these are the more difficult ones

Agreed. Although I suspect based on a session we had on Marrakech on the implementation of PTI - that there will be a fair degree of interest from CWG and CCWG members on those bylaws as well. However hopefully the actual bylaws piece is straight forward, versus movement of staff etc to the new entity.

>> we believe that the CWG bylaws -- now that we have answers from CWG re the open questions -- will be in good shape by the 18th.

Excellent - that is good to know.

>> In addition, the Adler team is not involved in those bylaws and we do not want to impinge on their time unnecessarily.

Ah - OK - thanks for the context.

>> One possibility is to bifurcate on March 23 into CWG and CCWG groups. The 23rd is the only day that Sharon Flanagan can join us and it would be great to have her for CWG discussion. This way, the CCWG bylaw discussion could progress simultaneously.

Yes - that makes sense to me. Just need to make sure that the ICANN Legal team can bifurcate as well ). I will let John Jeffrey respond on that detail.

>> Also, we note the new address above for the Bylaws Coordinating Group. Can you confirm who is in that group?

So far it is the team that met on Monday night for dinner in Marrakech with the addition of John Curran, CEO of the ARIN Regional Internet Registry.

So that includes at least:

CCWG - Mathieu, Thomas, León, Becky, Cheryl, Steve and Becky

CWG - Jonathan, Lise, Maarten, and Greg

RIRs - John Curran

Board members - Bruce, Chris, Rinalia, Ron, Erika, Mike, Cherine,

ICANN support staff - Theresa, Bernard Turcotte, Grace, and probably others

ICANN Legal Team - John Jeffrey, Samantha and probably others

Regards,
Bruce Tonkin
