.fo (Faroe Islands) is a very small ccTLD -
I was given the opportunity to give a presentation about the development of
the ccTLD .fo at ICANN61 in Puerto Rico. This was a true eye opener for me.
After my presentation, my network within the ccNSO environment became much
larger. I had meetings with other ccTLDs, where we shared best practices.
Furthermore I had several meetings with stakeholders which gave me a lot of
inspiration.
My intention was to give a presentation at ICANN63 in Barcelona, but
unfortunately the new frontend system behind .fo isn’t completely ready
yet. Therefore, I would love to be given the opportunity to attend ICANN64 in
Kobe, where it would be a privilege to give a presentation about how small
ccTLDs can remain in the competition and be competitive.

Any additional information you would like to share?
Being present at the ICANN conferences gives me so much. Among many
motivational factors, I get motivated by improving my knowledge, by learning,
by networking, by being influenced and to get the opportunity to influence
others.
Great work ICANN and thanks for the opportunity to apply for the ccNSO travel
support.
