registry mandated to administer dot (.KE) domains. Through working here we
are able to connect with the wider ccTLD community and participate in
different in benchmarking exercises  with different ccTLD's currently we host
dot SS ( South Sudan) and share with them information that can assist there
registry
I have an interest in becoming an active member of the broader ccTLD

especially in areas on Policy making where i can contribute ideas that will
be of benefit to the ccTLD community as well as learn from others. This will
assist in implementing the same at KeNIC

Liaison Committee (IGLC) since i have a lot of interest in  Internet
Governance and i would like to learn more from what other ccTLDs are doing on

I was granted funding to attend ICANN 65 community forum.
Through attending other ICANN meetings , I sent out my application to join as
a volunteer in  the ccNSO Internet Governance Liaison Committee (IGLC)  and
was granted approval
Any additional information you would like to share?
I had the opportunity to discuss and network with different players within
the internet industry and ccTLDs on the growth of  the uptake of Domains,
establishments of Public Private partnerships in Internet Governance issues,
best practices in Domain Name Systems security DNSSEC, Cyber Security, GDPR,
E-commerce among others.
Following the ICANN 65 Community Forum KeNIC organized a 2-day  Registrars
training  on 10th  and 11th April 2019 on Marketing and Technical activities.
We managed to partner with ICANN Africa representative . We sensitised
registrars on the effects of GDPR and  trained them on  Domain Name Systems
security DNSSEC i
