Sarmad: also include engagement with GNSO
Bart: is captured. See lower.
Sarmad: short pointed, which really adds value. See also board resolution. Ccnso and GNSO to work together in this process
Jiankang: what does “consistent” solution mean?
Bart: you need to ask the Board. Probably “fairly similar”. Captures the need for the annex with the comparison

o   Annex C: Irina suggested to treat “Section observations” as “Notes and Observations” in main text. After some thought suggest NOT to use same way to present. Suggest to reserve “Notes and Observations” to distinguish between interpretation and policy recommendations. In Annex C it is used for different purpose to distinguish between rationale and advise to ccTLDs, which is not part of the policy.   Suggestion is to call it what it is: need to advise ccTLDs
o   Page 80: Final sentence added word “local”
o   Page 80: marked text was originally “Notes and Observations” to be consistent it is no longer considered as such.

Bart: with everything discussed, including change to paragraph 2 in executive summary, and request by Mirjana to add her ccTLD affiliation, do you agree?
Will circulate it again to the full group. Until Friday for final thumbs up/down of the text. Allows us to start the public comment asap.

5.                   Public comment process

Bart: draft initial report will be published next week for public comment
Open until 28 Sept. at least 40 days. That gives us from staff a few weeks to summarise. Then group discusses the comments received, and update the doc where needed, based on public comments. Also include answer to comments received. Stress test was useful.
