ICANN,

I disagree with removing price caps for domains.

It is important to maintain accessibility to new domain names by keeping the
prices in check. Notice how the resale prices for domain auctions have
become ridiculously high in many cases. This is explained by the supposed
"popularity" of a given domain name.

But in actuality, unfairly raising the price of domains is the easiest thing
to do, since it requires no added value to do so! The effect of this is that
only wealthy purchasers can obtain certain domains from unscrupulous
sellers.

Let's not have this happen with new domain names, too.

Thanks,

Laryn Mumm
