I think the amendment proposed by Verisign is just an excuse to open the
door for predatory, abusive increase in pricing for .com domains, by far
the most popular domains on the internet. If this was really about
security, they'd be trying to make this a universal amendment instead of
just to whatever benefits their bottom line the most.

I implore you to not let the economic interests of one company overpower
the social interests of the entire internet, and to reject this amendment
in order to maintain the current status of .com domains and their pricing.
