[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Proposed Amendment 3 to the .COM Registry Agreement

To whom it may concern,

I am a registrant of several personal and business .com domain names.

I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains.

The current rate of $7.85 is already far more than justified. An increase of 30% may seem small on an individual level, but could hurt the small business owner and individual with little disposable income. To keep accessibility and access available to the widest audience please do not increase prices.

Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price.

ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest.

Please take the opinions of valid internet business owners and individuals and do not increase the .COM prices over 30% over the next 2 years.

Thank you,

Matthew Johnson
