I feel strongly that affordability should be a priority for .com domain names.  The public should be protected from profiteering and any company that benefits from the core infrastructure of the Internet should have strong requirements to re-invest those dollars into infrastructure.  Whenever possible decision making should be done publicly rather than behind closed doors.
