I started my first business 19 years ago when I was 16 years old. One of
the reasons I was able to start a web hosting company at that time and
maintain it was due to the fact that the .COM TLD have maintained a very
affordable rate.

If this changes and rates increase with regularity I fear that it could
become a barrier of entry for some people. Everyone should have access to
the tools they need to succeed.

Please ICANN protect the interest of the people and not the interest of
corporations.
