[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Keep Domain Prices Down, Please

We currently live in a world where the internet is an integral part of our
daily lives and society as a whole. This means that websites are becoming
something more and more people need and will use. One crucial part of that
is the domain name, which allows a website/service to be shared and
accessed by the world (more easily, though many web hosts require a domain
name to be applied to their hosting services).

So I feel as though keeping the costs of domain names down is something
that is pretty important, considering how it directly affects such a large
portion of the world. Sure, the price increase may seem small, but there
are many people who use the internet to create and share ideas and who do
not have much in the way of funding to begin with. There is the potential
to have many talented individuals lose their ability to maintain a website
and internet presence. Again, while to many, the dollar amount may seem
trivial, but you have to remember all ends of the spectrum, where there are
some who could greatly benefit from a TLD, but aren't able to easily afford
it.
