I don't understand why ICANN, an organization that has been entrusted with
overseeing the internet TLD system, is violating that trust through this
ridiculous agreement with Verisign. To the casual observer, it looks like
Verisign is paying off ICANN for allowing them to jack up the prices of
.com domains. It's a win for Verisign, a win for ICANN, and a loss for
everybody else. Please reconsider.
