[Comments-com-amendment-3-03jan20] Fair and Open Internet

Hello,

Like many other internet users today, I¹m concerned by the recent changes
encouraging price increases for domains. To keep a free and open internet,
it is important that domains remain reasonable enough in pricing to make
them accessible to people of all different income levels.

I¹m writing you to express my opposition to ICANN changing the contract with
Verisign. We do NOT want an increase in pricing for .com domains and
Verisign should not be able to be a registrar. This is an obvious conflict
of interest and will reduce competition in the market.

Thank you,

Brian Stevens
