To whom it may concern,

I invest in domain names as a business and I am against the proposed price increase to .COM domains.
ICANN is supposed to govern the domain name system in the public interest; this price increase cannot be said to be in the public interest and no one with ICANN has explained how it could be interpreted as such. It is purely a money-grab. Verisign is merely your manager of the .COM Registry – it has no business dictating the price.
