Dear Sir/Madame.

I just read about the agreement between Verisgn and ICANN to increase the price of the .com domain name extension, and wish to appeal to you not to do this.

There are very many small e-commerce businesses already struggling to be profitable in our business endeavors. Increasing the price of the .com domain name extension will make it even more difficult for us to remain profitable.

It is already difficult enough to even find a good .com domain that fits a company’s branding. This price increase will further hurt all, except large companies that have plenty of cash on hand at any given time. Is this the plan? To force all small businesses out of the market so that only the big, rich popular brands can take part in gaining profits through internet business?

Best regards.
Tony S. Brown
