price for .COM registry services"

It's strange how it seems like the public (re: see all the comments
submitted) seem to think that it's NOT in our interest as domain name
holders for ICANN to agree to allow the monopoly Verisign has to profit
even more.

I do NOT agree with this amendment. By increasing the price of .COM you are
making it harder for less-privileged individuals to obtain a domain name
and creating a strain on the public. This is not in the public interest.
This does not enhance the stability of the internet.
