I am writing to oppose the proposed increase in prices over the coming
decade. This secretive process and agreement with Verisign stinks and there
is no clarity over how icann will be spending the additional money. This is
a straight money grab and doesn't clearly represent a need to increase
prices to cover an increase in operating costs. Not only that but the
increase will limit the availability of the most popular domains (.com) by
significantly increasing prices and making them unaffordable for many.
